Tara Anderson was born and raised in Chico, California.  She graduated from UC Irvine in Business Economics with Cum Laude Honors and Phi Beta Kappa Honors.  Tara has extensive real estate investment knowledge and experience.  Previously, she worked at various commercial real estate investment firms in Orange County selling non-traded REITs, TIC's, and Private Placements in just about every real estate asset class.  She became a Real Estate Broker in 2010 and shortly thereafter, moved back to Chico to form Ballou Company.

In addition to her real estate career, Tara is very involved in the equestrian community and her family owns Camelot Equestrian Park in Butte Valley, California.  

Tara lives in Chico with her wonderful husband and daughter.  She rides horses competitively throughout California.

Andy Anderson was formally educated as a Mechanical Engineer and graduated from UC Irvine in 2008.  After working in the energy industry as a Professional Engineer, he was employed as a financial analyst for a boutique investment firm in Chico where he earned his Chartered Financial Analyst designation.  Andy’s mechanical knowledge and analytical skillset serves him well as the Chief Financial Officer of Ballou Company.

Outside of work, Andy enjoys raising his beautiful daughter and sharing life with his amazing wife, Tara Anderson.  His horse keeps him humble and he challenges himself through cycling and sailing.

Caitlin was born and raised in Chico, CA and has a deep love and respect for her community. Some of her favorite activities include walking in lower Bidwell Park, and fishing on the Sacramento River. She grew up as a competitive Irish dancer and would travel the north state competing and exploring as much as she could in the process. She has been able to explore and get to know many communities between the Bay area and the Oregon border. She hopes to share a little bit of the love she has for Northern California with her future clients. Caitlin married her high school sweetheart Mike, and had two handsome sons, Michael and Colin. During this time her husband was able to achieve his dream of becoming an captain with CalFire. Having a first responder in the family has created an undying respect for first responders and their families. She is dedicated to supporting them in any way she can. When her first son started school, Caitlin returned to work for a local insurance brokerage. While she loved it there, she knew her true passion lied within real estate. She had been dreaming of being a real estate agent since she was 16 years old. Caitlin looks forward to supporting her clients and helping them achieve their dream of homeownership by giving them unprecedented customer service, dedication, and support during the homebuying process.

Amy Nelms is the sixth generation of her family in Butte Valley. She graduated California State University Chico with a B.A. in Public Relations in Journalism and minors in English and Agriculture with Magna Cum Laude honors. She returned to Chico State and graduated with her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential in 2013. She has been teaching elementary school in Oroville since 2014.

Amy has four horses and has a lifelong dedication to improving her horsemanship skills. She enjoys riding on her family’s ranch and attends Buck Brannaman clinics every year in California, Oregon, and Nevada. She has a passion for furthering her education in horsemanship, teaching, and real estate. She obtained her real estate sales license in 2018 and is excited to share her knowledge of the Butte Valley area to help clients find the perfect home.

Kendra Anderson has a B.S. in Agricultural Business from CSU, Chico.  Originally from Rocklin, she has lived in Chico since 2007.  She is a third generation real estate investor and second-generation REALTOR.  She is a member of the Chico Association of Realtors and The North Valley Property Owners Association.  She is also the owner of K. Anderson Rentals, managing her own residential rental properties in Chico.  As the daughter of a general contractor, Kendra has a broad knowledge of all aspects of planning, architecture and development of a home.

In 2014, she obtained her real estate license in order to pursue her vision of selling real estate, with an emphasis in residential, rural, equestrian and agricultural properties. With connections to the local agriculture industry, she knows the potential of investing in land in the North State. Along with an interest in the agriculture industry, Kendra is an avid equestrian and horse lover.

Miranda Garrity has lived in Butte County for over 25 years. She feels so blessed to have grown up in such a unique community filled with such beauty, opportunities and tons of recreation! She grew up showing horses competitively through AQHA and also at local open events. A lot of life lessons were learned during this time!  Miranda became a Certified Massage Therapist in 2008 in pursuit of her passion in helping others. She worked at a local spa and also at a Chiropractor’s office for a couple years. Then, the greatest adventure in life started when she married her high school sweetheart Brian Garrity, and they started a family in their small hometown. Miranda and Brian have three active, curious, energetic, loving sons! Their family manages and farms Almonds in Durham and Chico, CA.  Construction is BIG in their family! Miranda’s Father –in-law, Brett Garrity, is a licensed contractor that has been building custom homes, remodels, and additions in the North Valley for over 23 years!  A family company was then created in 2015, Garrity Family Properties, in pursuit of providing the community with quality, unique homes.  Miranda has many local connections providing her knowledge and resources to up-to-date topics in the industry, and also the understanding of the market.  Miranda is driven, attentive to detail, understands the importance of time, and cares so much about her role as a Real Estate Agent.
